STE. GENEVIEVE WINE COUNTRY TOUR

This tour heads south from Clayton to I-270 and south onto I-55 and Highway 61, paralleling the Mississippi River basin towards Festus, Missouri. The tour continues winding its way south through the scenic rural farmlands of Jefferson and St. Francis counties, and finally into the scenic roads weaving through the southern wine growing region of the French inspired Ste. Genevieve County. The tour will conclude with a private luncheon overlooking the vineyards at the picturesque Crown Valley Winery, one of several notable wineries in the region.

 

After lunch the participants are encouraged to participate in tours offered by the staff, as well as to walk the grounds, browse the shops and then take the brief drive to historic downtown Ste. Genevieve, an authentic French Colonial village with many historic and authentic period houses, museums, shops, galleries and restaurants.
