The Wolf Mountain Winery is the favorite destination for Peachstate PCA tours. It is known for its award-winning wines and gourmet lunch buffet.

The San Francisco Wine Competition, founded in 1980 is the oldest American wine competition. More than 20 judges gathered in November 2021 to evaluate and score over 2,900 wines from around the world. Wolf Mountain Vineyards did not just participate in this contest they won Best in Show Sparkling as well as Best Bland de Blancs. The sparkling wine received 95 points and a Double Gold medal. In the red wine competition, the winery’s 2016 Claret Estate Grown Red Blend was selected as Best Premium Non-Bordeaux Blend. It received 97 points and a Double Gold medal.

The gourmet buffet will be served in the event center overlooking the vineyards at the winery and is in the same class as their wines. I know you will enjoy it. The approximately 130-mile drive to the winery will take some very scenic roads through the mountains.

As if a fun route on twisty Georgia mountain roads, great food, and wine weren’t enough to make you want to go, Karl Boegner your host will personally take you on a tour of his garages. They contain quite a collection of Porsches and memorabilia, including Olivia Newton John’s 356. And if that isn’t enough, after the garage tour go up into the main restaurant and view his guitar and rock and roll memorabilia collection.
