Billings Farm & Museum

A pleasant half-mile stroll from the Woodstock Inn, Billings Farm & Museum is an ideal way to experience the spirit of rural Vermont. Meet prize-winning Jersey dairy cows, draft horses, Southdown sheep, and heritage chickens and sample Billings Farm’s own 100% raw-milk cheddar cheese. Explore the carefully-restored 1890 Farm House and learn about the farm operation a century ago. The Farm will also be hosting its 33rd Annual Quilt Exhibit - a can't miss feature in the newly renovated barn. Treffen Vermont guests will be able to explore the farm and museum and participate in one of two special interactive programs.

Billings Farm & Museum Program 1: Woolen Wonders ($135.00) - Meet one of the Billings Farm sheep and hear about her history and unique characteristics. Learn how her wool is processed into yarn then try out hand carding and spinning for yourself. Using the wool, create a felted souvenier to take home, a great Treffen momento! Includes transportation, tour, activity and lunch from the Woodstock Inn.

Billings Farm & Museum Program 2: Herb Buttered Biscuits ($131.00) - Visit the Billings Farm heirloom garden and choose your favorite savory herb. We will take those herbs back to our Learning Kitchen and use them to make a delicious herbed butter. You will churn the cream by hand, add your custom herb blend and enjoy the result on a buttermilk buscuit. The perfect Billings Farm snack! Includes transportation, tour, activity and lunch from the Woodstock Inn.
