Treffen Message Regarding COVID-19
February 1, 2021
The Porsche Club of America, your National Treffen Team and the many volunteers of the Arizona Region are excited about this event and we are looking forward to another record sell-out for Treffen Scottsdale at the breathtaking JW Marriott Camelback Inn Resort & Spa.
Over the past several months, like you, we have watched, very carefully, the health orders and recommendations with regards to COVID-19. The Arizona’s governor has issued an Executive Order for public and private gatherings that explains: Private events that are not open to the public, such as weddings held at properties such as hotels or golf courses are not considered “organized public events” and therefore, do not require City approval to be held. Businesses that hold such private events must comply with Governor’s Executive Order 2020-36, which requires the business to establish and implement policies based on the CDC guidelines for events and gatherings, Department of Labor, Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), Arizona Dept. of Health Services, and Maricopa County requirements to limit and mitigate the spread of COVID-19.
The JW Marriott Camelback Inn Resort & Spa is open for business, able to successfully manage our program, and eager to provide our attendees with the exceptional service for which they are known. Nestled between Mummy Mountain and Camelback Mountain, the 427 casita-style rooms set on over 125 acres offers ample social distancing opportunities for guests while still providing beautiful and tranquil surroundings.
In the past few days, the PCA National Treffen team travelled and met at the JW Marriott Camelback Inn Resort & Spa for a short stay to observe first-hand the steps they are taking to assure that we can conduct this event safely. The resort has taken many actions to make a visit to this iconic Scottsdale resort as safe as possible. Please visit the resort’s COVID-19 updates and what to expect at our hotel information found on the resort’s website.
