F.A.Q.

When does Treffen registration open?

Check your eBrake News and PCA website for announcements.

What is the format/schedule of Treffen events?

Treffen events feature three days of non-competitive touring, creative dining and the opportunity to explore exciting destinations. Arrival and event registration check-in occurs on Wednesday afternoon. Escorted driving tours are typically on Thursday and Saturday. “Navigators’ Day Off” (NDO) special activities or self-tours typically on Friday. Departure on Sunday morning. Click here to see the full list of activities and their descriptions.

What are “Navigators’ Day Off” (NDO) activities?

For those who regularly occupy the left seat, this is your day to be pampered, explore or visit special destinations at a relaxed pace. Arranged tours, discounted resort spa and golf packages, and listings of local galleries and dining opportunities are available from the Treffen Information Desk. Or just sleep-in and enjoy the beauty of the surroundings. The choice is yours!  Click here to see the NDO activities.

What does the Treffen registration fee include?

The base registration fee includes welcome reception, breakfasts, evening food events, event apparel and other amenities. Escorted drives and “Navigators’ Day Off” (NDO) activities have additional fees for rentals, lunch, admission, etc. that are added during the registration process. Registration for Treffen Banff opens soon. Please check your eBrake News and PCA website for announcements.

Is there a single-day Treffen registration fee?

Not at this time; Treffen can only accommodate a certain number of attendees. The escorted drives are limited in size to meet the PCA Driving Tours standards and other activities have a set capacity to ensure quality.

What is the refund policy for Treffen?

Cancellations received prior to Friday, August 3 receive a full refund less $50 per person processing fee. Cancellations between Saturday, August 4 and Tuesday, September 4 receive a full refund less $100 per person processing fee.

Sorry, no refunds after Thursday, September 6, 2018.

Can I reserve a room at the special rate prior to Treffen registration opening?

No, a booking code will be provided in the registration process; use that code when making hotel reservations.

Do I have to stay at the “official” hotel?

No; however, PCA has negotiated a spectacular rate at these four-star hotels and has contracted for a substantial room block to accommodate. These resorts have also offered to extend the conference rate both before or after Treffen subject to hotel availability.

May I participate in Treffen without a Porsche?

The destinations’ roads are best experienced in a Porsche; however, a Porsche is not required. Treffen is seeking information regarding rental Porsches for future Treffens.

When and where are future Treffens?

Both Spring 2019 and Fall 2019 Treffen locations and dates will be announced at Porsche Parade this summer. The 2020 Treffen events are also in the works. Watch eBrake News and the PCA website for announcements.

How are Treffen destinations selected?

Treffen selection criteria centers around 1) geographic diversity, 2) Region capabilities, 3) attractive destinations, and 4) great resorts. Spring Treffens are sited in the southern half of North America and Fall Treffens in the northern half. Treffens destinations are set to complement the location of Parade each year and occur somewhat remote to the location of Parade.

Are there sponsorship opportunities available for Treffen?

Certainly! Sponsor a drive, social, reception, party or become the title sponsor. Email events@pca.org for additional information.
